Almond Buttter Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 240 g Almond butter
  • 5 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 40 g Cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 160/140 fan/gas mark 3.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the almond butter, maple syrup, egg, coconut oil and vanilla.
  3. Stir in the cocoa powder and baking powder.
  4. Pour the batter into a prepared 9-inch baking pan.
  5. Bake for 20-23 minutes, until the brownie is done, but still soft in the middle and a skewer comes out clean.
