ZUMBA

Sandra has really made Zumba in and around Thame, Oxfordshire her own. With great energy, motivational music and real fun, Sandra’s classes are always very well attended.

Sandra takes the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective and super fun.

HIIT – High Intensity Interval Training

These are classes using a specific training technique that use quick and intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active recovery periods. By using this type of training you can gain more health benefits in 15 mins than jogging on a treadmill for an hour! It also burns more fat during the exercise period and for up to 24 hours afterwards. This is the most efficient form of exercise not only for making maximum use of your time, but also for burning calories and getting fitter.

Yoga

Sandra’s Yoga classes are a flowing form of Hatha Yoga. Having come into Yoga from her fitness background she tends to use Yoga for its health benefits that provide not only stretch and relaxation, but also core and all over body strength. This is the perfect workout for your “mind” and “body”. It is a safe practice that links together a flowing series of poses that create strength, flexibility, endurance and balance. It works all parts of your body equally to create balance that will compliment other activities of daily life.

Massage

Sandra has been a qualified Sports Masseur since 1999 and therefore has built up a wealth of experience. Whether you are a looking for treatment as part of your fitness / training program, for injury treatment and rehabilitation or just to unwind after a busy week, Sandra will have a treatment plan for you.

Total Body Conditioning

This is a whole body workout that will improve your overall fitness and body shape. A variety of training techniques will be used to achieve rapid and real results. The class content will change each week to ensure that you never get bored. This is one of the most popular and versatile classes. It is suitable for people of all fitness levels and abilities.
